The Jensen’s Format Writing pages have been at donnayoung.org for a couple of years or so and recently I made changes to the review and the syllabus pages. I still have work to do that is related to Jensen’s Format Writing. For instance, I would like to go into detail on what a syllabus is or can be for the high school homeschooled student. On second thought, a syllabus isn’t related to the book, it’s related to the high schooler and the one who makes the syllabus. I am reluctant to comment on my actual plans that are related to the book. I might not have time to write about “it” anytime soon.
The Jensen’s Format Writing review is in the English section of donnayoung.org at:

Did I ever tell you I bought Jensen’s Grammar by mistake because I thought you recommended it:P Later I saw that it was the Writing book you recommended. Now maybe the second time around I’ll get the right book. Thanks for posting this.

I remember that.

Do You recommend jensen’s punctuation? Also, what do you recommend for a good high school literature program?

Carla,
We didn’t use Jensen’s Punctuation. That does not mean I chose another program instead; I just did not know about Jensen’s Punctuation when I might have considered it.
We used BJUP Literature for 2 or 3 years in the upper grades. I don’t know how it compares with other programs because that is the only one we used that was just for literature. That’s not necessarily a recommendation, it’s more of an “I don’t know because I have not tried a lot of literature programs.” But I did buy it more than once and that says something.
