toc plannerThis is my second TOC Planner layout for the elementary or pre-junior high books that are published by Apologia Educational Ministries, Inc and authored by Jeannie Fulbright. I had previously made the layout as shown in the TOC Planner article but I had doubts that the first layout would work well for this particular curriculum. I was not sure if the second layout idea was a good one either, so I bought one of Jeannie Fulbright’s books. While reading it, I decided that the second idea was the better one. Today I started on the new design. It is not exactly how I had envisioned the planner, but it is close.

Edited to say that the TOC Planners for Jeannie Fulbright’s books are finished and can be found at:

  1. HI Donna,

As a brand new home schooling mom (Started Dec. 1st) I have appreciated the wealth of information on your site!

Do you plan to post the Apologia Astronomy lesson plans? We will begin this series in January and I would love to see what you have gleaned from your research!

    Thanks!

  2. Hi Karen, the files I am working on are planners, they are not lesson plans. I changed my mind about the format and then something else came up. I haven’t worked on them since October. I’ll check to see if I have the astronomy planner in the newer format.

I have it; below are the two different formats for the astronomy book. The 1st one is my preferred one for this type of class.

    1. The Newer Revised Planner:

    DOC and a pdf
    PDF

^ This one, the first one, lists the parts of the chapter and the supplies in a checklist. Your job is to note your ideas and plans for each chapter. If more room is needed, there is a Lesson __ Continued page on page 15.

    2. DOC

    PDF

^ The second one, breaks the parts of the chapter into little pieces. This is the one that may not make it to my website, but since I have it, I am linking it here.

  4. Thanks for all of this hard work! We love this book and it is my first year teaching it! What a blessing your ministry is to those of us who are “organizationally challenged”!
