I am shamelessly ignoring my garden this year. Yet it still blesses me with its beauty and fruit. This year it is more of a wild beauty instead of the usual enforced neatness and the strict observance of paths. My husband commented on my abundance of herbs (that stuff out there) and I commented that while the herbs have spread over half of the garden, they are suppressing weeds. That’s a nice service they are doing for me.
