Working with the Student Sheets in the V Planner

Latest version - V Planner V2.5-DT

The "S" sheets -- "S" for student. I know it is a corny name, but please do not rename the tabs. It's for your own good, actually it is for your convenience -- it is more convenient to use the tab names as they are named than it is to change the tab names. If you change the names of the tabs, then the hyperlinks that I placed throughout the V Planner to those sheets will no longer work.

Color Coded Tabs

To help you associate "the" child with "the child's" lesson plans and planners, I color coded the sheets.

1st child listed in Data is green and that child's planners are green.
2nd child listed in Data is peach and that child's planners are peach.
3rd child = blue, 4th child = lavender

The"S" Sheet

I refer to them as "S" sheets, "S" pages, or "S#" sheets in the planner. Online at the S-Sheet help pages, I will call them S-Sheets. The S-Sheets are the places where you will ...

  1. Enter the daily lesson plans [helpHelp - seeCol-B, Lesson Plans ]
  2. You will mark lessons to show on the planners [helpHelp - seeCol-A, Marking A Column]
  3. You will set school terms and give each term a beginning and ending date
  4. At the term graders, you will decide how many grade columns to use and you will give the grade columns names and weights
  5. You can enter grades for any of the lessons [helpHelp - see Grades ]
  6. You can choose several terms and calculate an average with the Term Averager that is located around Cell M59 on each S-Sheet.
  7. You can enter the number of minutes that was spent in each class [- if using - this is set at Data ]
  8. You can enter the numbers for each subject [- if using - this is set at Data ]
  9. In cell U3, you can select a grade scale to use. Default is GS 1
  10. In cell L3, you will choose how much 1 point is worth for each subject. Default is .01.
