Math Bingo Game

addition bingoThe bingo games on this page are: Addition Bingo and Multiplication Bingo. There are six cards per printed sheet of paper. The cards are small, measuring just over 3" by 3.5".

How to Play Math Bingo: Math Bingo plays much like regular bingo. The cards have randomly generated math problems on the 5 by 5 grid and the middle square is a free space. Each column is headed with the letters B, I, N, G, and O. The caller draws a number and calls the number, such as "B 7". The students should look in column B for a problem that equals the number 7. If the student finds one (or more) in the column, he should mark it. Decide whether or not the student will write the answer on the card. When a player has 5 in a row marked ( diagonally, horizontally, or vertically ) then the student should call "Bingo." The student should read the problems and answers in the marked row to confirm that it is an actual win.

The Bingo Game Cards

Because the student should write the answer on the cards, then the cards should be considered disposable and should be printed on regular printer paper.

The Bingo Call Numbers

The call numbers can be reused and could be printed on card stock for durability.

The Call Check Sheet

The call check sheets are optional. They are used by the caller to mark the number that has been called so that in case of a win (that is challenged or not), all of the previously called numbers do not have to be looked over.

Addition Bingo

The files have either 12 bingo cards or 72 bingo cards. Choose the size that is best for your needs. Each file is different. Keep in mind that the problems were randomly generated, so there might be duplicate problems on each card. A duplicate problem is shown in the image below. Because of the possibility of duplicate problems, keep the cards face down when the students choose a bingo card.
