Sliced London Broil
- 1 to 1 1/4 pounds of London broil
- meat thermometer, foil
- salt and pepper
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place a sheet of foil on a oven-proof platter or a 9x13 pan. Place the London broil on the sheet of foil. Insert a meat thermometer into the meat. Bring the foil up around the meat, almost covering it, but leaving the ends open and some of the top open. The idea is for the foil to catch the juices. Place the meat in the oven and cook until the desired doneness. Remove from the oven. Place meat on a cutting board and slice into thin slices. Salt and pepper meat to taste. Reserve the juices to serve over mashed potatoes or the meat.
