Hollow Letters, Bubble Letters

The alphabet in large hollow letters, sometimes called bubble letters, may be printed from this page. Each letter set, except M and W, uses one sheet of paper. The letter set consists of the upper and lower case letter. The letters are available in two styles shown below. Suitable for children who are learning the alphabet.

The image on the right shows one possible use for the files. The lesson would consist of studying the starting sound of the letter and over the next few days [or on the same day] choose, cut, and glue things that start with the letter.

About the Files

I made the files in a paint program using two fonts: Print Clearly and Precursive. You can make similar files for your students using the fonts and a word processor. Set the font to "Hollow" in the format font menu.
