There is not a lot to report although I feel like I have been busy. Leah Mitchell redid (tweaked) her Exploring Creation with General Science co-op schedule. The schedule is in both word and pdf format and it is linked on the co-op schedule web page. Thank you Leah! 🙂
I have made two bug movies, one was added several days ago and I added another one today. The are linked on the new page here: Bug Movies. The movies are described on the bug movie page so I will not repeat that here. I hope that your children enjoy the bug movies.
Today, along with the second bug movie, I added a brief page on insect anatomy that leads to another brief part about drawing a bug. The content is around perhaps a 3rd-4th grade level and it is not as complete as I would like it to be. I will probably add more later.
At this time and unless I change my mind, the bug movies will be treated as seasonal content and will be taken down by the end of June and reintroduced next spring.
That is all for now. I expect to be very busily not working on donnayoung.org during the next three weeks. I have several not donnayoung.org projects going on here at home. I’ll be back.
See you later!
Sincerely,
Donna Young
That is just so cool! 😀 I am sending the link to a friend who hates science and bugs.
See said she just deleted the link, without looking. So, I took the opportunity to tell her that she was a bad homeschooling mom. She has decided to show it to her children.
I’m such a good friend. 😀
Definitely good enough for a repeat performance! 😀
I hope you enjoy your “not donnayoung.org projects”!
Michelle, I am glad to know that there is another home school mom out there that hates science!!!

Donna,
You are a blessing to all home schooling families! The Lord has blessed you with a wonderful talent. Thank you for sharing with others!! I have been home schooling my son for 1 1/2 years now. When I first started, I was totally confused and didn’t know where to begin. I started with your website and we have had great success. You have helped more than you’ll every know!
Thank you so much!
Donna,
I just wanted to let you know what a tremendous help your website and printables have been to our family. I just discovered your blog and look forward to visiting again, especially since we’re using Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Zoology this year. I’m excited!!
Blessings,
Mrs. C
Thank you Mrs. C. 🙂
I really like the vertical calendars. I made myself something similar last year, but I like yours better so I will use those instead.
You`ve been working so hard!
A sweet thing happened to our cat yesterday. He was sitting in the dining room window watching the birds at the feeder. A baby bird was tweeting constantly and sitting on the window sill. At first the bird had its back to the window, but then it turned around and looked at the cat. It tweeted unceasingly while looking at the cat. The cat started purring. 🙂
I am a student attending london college of fashion and my new terms project is to research and embroider childlike drawings of the human figure….
if you have anymore pieces of figures in a childelike form, would there be a possibility that you could forward them to my email address as they would be perfect research!!!! i would obviously put down your name and information as an inspiration.
Thank you very much
yours sincerely
