This butterfly was standing on the pink zinnia petals, on its back 4 legs, the front two just tucked in – casual-like. If he was looking at what his head was pointing towards, he was looking at the mint and the hundreds of various insects buzzing all over the blooms.
How did you manage to get that shot?!!
Elaine, this kind of butterfly is not scared of me. It just stood there while I took a couple of pictures of it. The camera was only about 2 inches away. Some kinds of butterflies and insects are not scared of me and some are.
